Statement of Faith
We believe in God's one and only Son Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh to offer up his life as an atonement for the past, present and future sins of the world (Titus 3:3-7). We believe that Jesus is the Gate (John 10:9), the only way unto the Father (John 14:6) by whom all must be saved (Acts 4:12). We believe in one God that demonstrates Himself in three distinct ways, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one (1 John 5:7). We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23) and it’s only by the grace of God (a gift) that we have been saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).
We believe that All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man (or woman) of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) We also believe if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9). We believe that we are obligated to preach the Gospel to all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: which is the great commission given to us by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19).
